I'm That Nigga - Similar to I Feel Good in style, but with a bouncy, repetitive chorus and a feature from fellow Young Money rapper HoodyBaby, who actually has a decent verse for once. He's truly a genius when it comes to witty lines. From the middle of the first verse through the second verse is just golden Wayne material. London Roads - This is probably as personal as I've ever heard Wayne get. There's a beat switch that makes the track a lot more fun, where Wayne starts talking more positively and taking care of himself while he's still alive rather than worrying about when he's gone. My Heart Races On - Slower than the previous three tracks, it's more of Wayne looking into the future and wondering how his community will take his passing. He addresses people telling him to be cautious with his absorbant spending while ignoring them and bragging more and more. I Feel Good - It's just a feel-good track where Wayne. His flow in the 2nd verse is actually something that only Wayne could do, man that shit gets me hyped as hell. At this point in his career, he was in the middle of his feud with Birdman - the person who basically gave him his whole career and supported him through everything as a father figure. He's Dead - This is where Wayne declares the death of his old, Cash Money self. He's playing with words like it's his last day on Earth. There is not one lackluster bar or weak punch. Not only is this one of the best beats I've ever heard in my life, but the punchlines on here are actually incredible. Glory - This is the strongest track that Wayne has ever released to me. I've gone back to revisit this album after a while, and I wrote down my thoughts on each track below: Since he wasn't able to release the album he's been working on for years, he had to work on other stuff in the meantime, and this was the album he put together in that time. After not getting properly compensated for his work, Wayne went at Birdman with a beefy $51 Million lawsuit before Birdman prevented Wayne from releasing Tha Carter V to the public. Until this point, he served as Wayne's mentor and father figure. Murda (feat. In 2015, Lil Wayne was in the midst of a lengthy feud with Birdman, the founder of Wayne's home label Cash Money Records.
